The Falcon Expert EC2-169---One of my absolute favorite rods for big smallmouth. On the Tennessee river below Pickwick and Wilson dams, I use this light action rod for drifting tubes on 3/16-3/8 heads. The light action allows for long casts and good sensitivity, but this rod has more than enough power to handle big brown fish in current. Dozens over 5, and a 6-10 monster have proven this rod has what it takes.
